Tara Reid began her career in commercials when she was an infant. She earned a name for herself through Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting skills are under scrutiny, she has without doubt played the roles she's played effortlessly. In The Big Lebowski, Bunny was her first big character. This film proved to be an important step in her career and she began getting offers for movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie, the cult film about teenage sexual experiences and interactions with girls, which Reid played in the role of Vicky the virgin in the movie. The film did not lead to a huge, successful Hollywood career. Reid had a few blunders in movies like Josie and the Pussycats. An appearance in American Pie 2 did nothing to revive her faltering career. Reid is more well-known as a fashion designer, a partygoer and party goer than as an actor because of her numerous offscreen mistakes she's made.
